Nearby you'll find plenty of hiking opportunities to suit all ages, from child-friendly walks to more challenging mountain hikes. The area is also perfect for fishing, mushroom and berry picking. Ål town center, with its shops and cafés, is just a short drive away. NOTE! in winter it is 2.5 km to ski to the cabin! Ski in / ski out: There are cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin. Ski resorts nearby: Approx. 45 min to Ål Ski Center, 50 min to Geilo Meet Cathinka I'm part of the fifth generation to vacation in this beautiful area. Silence, tranquillity and proximity to nature are essential to me, and I thrive here. The area offers great opportunities for hiking, fishing and berry picking, or simply to relax and forget the stresses of everyday life. The cabin is newly built with all modern facilities to ensure a comfortable stay, but I spent my childhood here in a simpler cabin. When my children and I come here, it feels like leaving everyday life behind and just enjoying.
