We offer accommodation in our two newly built apartments which we have named «Midnight sun» and «Northern lights». Both apartments are located right next to the sea with a wonderful view over Sørfjorden and Lyngsalpene. It’s up to you whether you want to enjoy it from inside the apartment or sit outside on the deck with the background sound of the sea and nature. Both apartments have a kitchen and a living room with a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and everything else necessary to cook a nice meal. We have cable TV and Wi-Fi, and the bathrooms have a WC, sink, shower and a washing machine. Each apartment has its own storage room with a 200-liter freezer, and space to store clothes and other equipment. «Midtnight sun» has one bedroom and one cubicle, while «Northern lights» has two cubicles. Both apartments can each room up to maximum six people.

Sjursnes Fjordferie is a new, small and family owned company, situated at Sjursnes – which is a small and beautiful village in the municipality of Tromsø. Approx. 70km from Tromsø Airport. The village is situated on the southern part of Ullsfjorden, Sørfjorden, surrounded by majestic mountains. We offer accommodation in our two newly built apartments with a wonderful view over Lyngsalpene. There is great outdoor space, and Sjursnes and the areas nearby offers a beautiful nature, with possibilities for fishing and hiking regardless of the season. You can enjoy a stroll on the beach or take a hike in the forrest and mountains. This is a place to get away from city noise and to enjoy nature and silence in a cozy little village. You can enjoy the midnight sun during the summer and the northern lights during the winter, if the weather allows it. If you want to go shopping for groceries or have a chat with the locals, you only need to go around the corner to our local store. Here you will find everything you might need during your stay and a small coffee bar where the locals sit down for a chat on a daily basis.

At Sjursnes, and the entire stretch between Breivikeidet og Sjursnes, you will find great opportunities to watch the northern lights throughout the whole winter season, if the weather allows it. When the conditions are right you won’t have any need for a guide to locate the northern lights, therefore you can spend your time any way you like and take a stroll around while the magical light dances around the majestic mountains in the area. There are great hiking spots in the forest, mountains and beaches, and alpine touring opportunities in wintertime. Sjursnes is surrounded by majestic mountains, such as Lyngsalpene, and the biggest mountain in Troms Jiehkkevarri (1834 MASL) in the east, and Sjursnestinden (1122 MASL) in the west. Other mountains in the west are Lavangstiden (1215 MASL), Musnestinden (1103 MASL) and Karltinden (1206 MASL).
