Situated 50 metres from the Syrtveitfossen waterfall’s river, Trollaktiv is 7 km from the town of Evje. It offers free Wi-Fi, an on-site kiosk, along with a communal kitchen and BBQ. The basic accommodation includes cottages and hostel rooms, some with private bathrooms and others with shared bathroom facilities. Some feature a patio, kitchenette and seating area. Rafting, canoeing and hiking excursions can be arranged by staff. On-site activities include ziplines, a playground, table tennis, kayaking, as well as courts for beach volleyball and football. Mountain biking, climbing and canoe rental is also possible. Byglands Fjord is 5 minutes’ drive away.

TrollAktiv AS was established in 1994 and is located 7km north of the town of Evje. The location is perfect for the rafting and river activities as the resort is directly beside the river Otra and the spectacular Syrtveit waterfall. TrollAktiv has annually re-invested, developing into a modern family Adventure park with all the necessary facilities for guests to sleep, eat, play and challenge the nature of the lower Setesdal valley. Summer activities have gradually grown and today TrollAktiv runs the largest rafting operation in Norway and has a wide range of activities to suit everyone in the family.
