It has a unique location by the Tyrifjord. It offers peaceful and natural surroundings all the way down to the beach, just 20 feet from the water's edge. If you want city experiences, Oslo is only 30-40 minutes away. Or you can go to Hønefoss or Sandvika, both about 20 minutes away. The tent is located on the beach, 6 meters from the water on a stone beach. It stands on a plateau meadow where there is also plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view out to the beach and the water. The sun conditions are very good and the sun doesn't go down until 10:45 p.m. in midsummer. About the property: The tent is 6 meters in diameter - which is around 29 square meters in size. It is furnished with a double bed (150 cm), a seating area and cabinets for cutlery, glassware and other kitchen utensils and a kitchen table. You have also a Cooler-box. The tent have alternative electricity source and has lights using a battery and solarcell. Kitchen: The kitchen is outside under a roof. Here you have a gas burner and what you need of frying pan, pots, etc. where you can cook and fry food. Here you also find dishwashing foam and washing-up stuff. The campfire site right in front of the tent is also a possibility for preparing food by barbecue. The toilet; is right beside the tent and is hygienic and clean since it's emptied after every guest visit we have. If you feel for having more heat in the tent, you use the gas heater. You find powerbanks to charge your mobile phone. And there is good 4G mobile coverage.

Arild is from Hønefoss and has also lived many years in Oslo. In the last years he have lived in northern Norway - in Bodø where he lives with Nina. In 2020 he took over the farm from he's parent and offer unique accommodations and experioences to guests.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Mainly there are cabins with plenty of space in between. There are some residents in the area as well.
