Property information

A fantastic home for the larger family, families or up to 5 couples. This home has heaps of room, so if it's space you require you can find it here. Built in the 1970's the home has 6 bedrooms. The three rooms downstairs are two queens, and one with two singles (which can be zipped together to make a king) Upstairs is the master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and en-suite as well as a super king (can also be zipped apart to make two singles). The other large upstairs room has a queen bed along with a spa bath in its own en-suite. The third bedroom upstairs has two sets of single bunks. Two lounge rooms make this an ideal family home. One lounge has a DVD player that the kids can make use of while the parents can enjoy each other's company in the other lounge. The Sky TV service has basic, sports and movie channels. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available and you can sign into your Netflix, Lightbox or Neon account on either of the TV's. The kitchen, dining and lounge area are all open plan which makes it very sociable. The home is fully fenced and has a lovely back yard where you can enjoy sitting on the lawn area or around the garden setting with a glass of wine waiting for the BBQ food to be cooked. There's even a swing set, spring free trampoline and netball hoop to occupy the kids.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
