Property information

This two storey home is an affordable option for an older family or small group looking for a budget friendly getaway. Not suitable for families with small children. There is an internal access garage on the ground floor to ensure you don't need to get wet while unloading the car. Also located on the ground floor is a very large bedroom featuring two king single beds and a queen bed. Off to the right as you enter this room is a bathroom that services the downstairs bedrooms. As you make your way upstairs you will find the kitchen, main living area, master bedroom and another bathroom. This home has two TVs with Freeview for your use. It is very close to the Dog Stream Reserve which is located at the end of the street and an easy stroll up to the pools and central village. Please note that although children are welcome, the layout of the bedrooms makes the home not suitable for babies and small children.

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
