Just 2 km from Kaikoura town centre, Brook House B&B & Cottages offers free continental breakfast with accommodation in the main house, while Brook cottages are two separate units. Free off-street parking and free unlimited WiFi is available. All rooms are equipped with heating, electric blankets and a wardrobe. Most rooms have an en suite or private bathroom. Brook House is a big ugly 1970's house but it was built for the sun and the views. It is set down a long driveway just off the highway. A lovely, quiet spot, facing the Magnificent Seaward Kaikoura Mountains. We offer B&B in The House or there are 2 self catering cottages next door for those that want to do their own thing.

KAIKOURA (In the Maori language Kai means food and Koura means Crayfish or the New Zealand Rock Lobster) lies between the rugged Seaward Kaikoura Range and the Pacific Ocean and has become world-renowned for its fantastic array of marine life. In Kaikoura you can take a Whale Watch tour to see the Giant Sperm Whales, resident off the coast all year round, or go swimming with the acrobatic Dusky Dolphins or the comical NZ Fur Seals. Watch the sun rise out of the sea and set behind the mountains.
