Just a 2-minute walk from the beachfront, Camp Waipu Cove features bungalows with patios and outdoor furniture. Free on-site parking is available. Camp Waipu Cove is an 8-minute drive from Waipu Town Centre and a 10-minute drive from Waipu Golf Club. Whangarei is 40 minutes’ drive away. All bungalows feature a refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. Some feature a fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV and DVD player. Guests can prepare a meal in one of the 3 large camp kitchens or using the shared barbecue facilities. The property also provides laundry facilities and 2 children’s playgrounds.

You'll find Camp Waipu Cove nestled at the southern end of the beautiful and unspoiled Bream Bay. Our Northland holiday park’s great facilities, supreme beach location and well-kept Waipu Cove accommodation create the ideal setting for a classic Kiwi getaway.

Waipu Cove beach, one of Bream Bay’s finest beaches, is right here at camp and just a stone’s throw from your accommodation! Waipu Cove is an open surf beach and is patrolled by lifeguards in season. Waipu Cove is excellent for surfing, when the swell is up and one of Northland’s great surfing attractions. Relax in the sun, watch the little ones building sandcastles or take a dip or stroll along miles of soft, white sand. There is a lovely river on the southern end of the beach, which is great for the children to swim in. Waipu town centre is just a five minute drive from Camp Waipu Cove. Here you will find a variety of places to enjoy a hearty breakfast, good coffee or top-quality restaurant dinner. The closest city to Waipu is Whangarei. Both Waipu and our Waipu Cove accommodation are just a 40 minute drive from Whangarei. Waipu town also offers a large grocery store, along with great gift and craft stores that are well worth a browse. Waipu’s Monthly Markets are held on the second Sunday of each month and are a great Northland attraction.
