This studio is downstairs in a Tekapo home. You are able to use the washing machine which is shared with the owner of the house and also the 'games room' facilities. It is in a quiet area but very close to the restaurants, lake, supermarket, church of the good shepherd - all less that a 10 minute walk. There is an adjoining "games room" - for all aged kids - foosball table, pool table, old tennis racquets, balls etc The Community Hall is just over the road with tennis courts and basket ball hoops. There is a golf course just around the corner and fishing on the rivers and canals just a short distance away.

We have lived, worked and played in Tekapo for most of this century and we know well what makes this area so special. If guests would like to chat we look forward to sharing our local knowledge and assisting our guests with all aspects of their stay. And we totally understand if guests just like to be left to enjoy the space in peace.

Lake Tekapo is renowned for it's stunning night sky, beautiful scenery and unbeatable climate! The area offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, including skiing, fishing, star-gazing, walking, horse trekking, scenic flights, ice skating, hot pools, and biking.
