Offering an open plan interior, expansive decking, and three stylishly decorated bedrooms, this cozy coastal haven is suitable for families, friends, and couples seeking a relaxing break. The house is full of coastal charm with high ceilings, beautiful timber beams and large windows to take in those ocean views. The private beach house located directly above Ngarunui beach features open plan living and three bedrooms on two levels, with one bathroom. Upstairs are two loft style rooms. A queen room with a private balcony deck, and a double room, accessed by a timber walkway. These two bedrooms are an open mezzanine to the downstairs and to each other with no dividing walls. The timber walkway separates the two rooms to create the private space. The master bedroom has uninterrupted panoramic views of the coastline. Downstairs you will find the third private bedroom with two single beds. The kitchen is beach style, in keeping with the property, with a wooden breakfast bar, gas hob, bench top oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, plunger coffee maker and fridge/freezer plus all the essentials for easy beach cooking. The dining area is furnished with a glass round dining table and a corner bench seat. The living area is comfortably decorated with two sofas and furnishings, and large windows allowing the space to be flooded with natural light. Ranch sliders from the kitchen and lounge open out to a large elevated timber deck where you will find a BBQ and outdoor dining table for 6 guests under a covered canopy, making the position the perfect place to enjoy a meal and cool beverage looking over the renowned point break Manu Bay. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, basin, and tucked to the side is a washing machine.

Neighbourhood information

The house is located in a residential area at the end of a private cul-de-sac, very close to Manu bay, (about 8 minutes drive past Raglan township), and a short walk down to the main beach at Raglan down a native walkway. Please note that the two queen bedrooms are on an open mezzanine floor with no enclosed walls between each other or the downstairs living space. The 2 bedrooms are separated by a timber walkway to create private sleeping space. Please take care with children on the timber mezzanine walkway and ensure they do not climb on the timber bannisters. Guests will need to take extra care on the deck as there are stairs that step down to a lower deck level so care is needed when stepping down due to the risk of a fall. Care will need to be taken when opening and closing the ranch slider door from the lounge space onto the deck, as the handle grip is no longer in place. The door will slide either way for you when you push the lock mechanism. Free Wi-Fi is included, and the Smart TV is internet based apps only which you require your own log in details for - Netflix, Neon, You Tube, On Demand etc. Please note there is no dishwasher in the kitchen or full oven. A hob, microwave and benchtop oven are provided for cooking. No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of six. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked. We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct. We are unable to host pets at this property. Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure. For stays over seven nights, guests can request fresh linen to be delivered. This service has an Property includes: Linen, towels, body wash, soap, tea, coffee, dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and gas for BBQ. You'll find direct access to the beach walkway at the top of the driveway.
