Good Times HQ is the perfect spot for your next Whitianga holiday.
This roomy bach sleeps up to 10 guests and is in a top location – just a short wander to town for great cafes and restaurants, down the road from the supermarket, and only a quick drive to the beach.
There are five bedrooms – four with comfy queen beds and a handy little nook/bedroom with two singles. The bathroom has both a bath and shower, plus there is a laundry with washing machine and tub for those sandy togs.
The lounge is a great hangout with plenty of seating, a fireplace for cosy winter nights, a Smart TV, and doors out to the garden. Two sunny conservatories, each with couches, give you extra spots to chill. The dining area seats five, with a couple of stools at the breakfast bar, and the kitchen’s got everything you need – full fridge, dishwasher and all the essentials.
Outside, fire up the BBQ after a day’s fishing or grab some goodies from the local butcher and enjoy an easy meal at the outdoor table. There’s loads of parking for cars and the boat, so you can make the most of the great weather and head out on the water.

Whitianga is a popular holiday destination located on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is the gateway to some amazing beaches and scenery. Wandering the shops is a good start and if you get a bit peckish head to one of many delightful eateries whether it's a pie and donut, or a sit-down lunch with a cold beverage. There are plenty of options. There is plenty to do for the kids as well with mini golf, movies, an awesome skatepark and kids' playground, and of course, there is the Mercury Bay Museum. For adults, a trip to the Lost Springs Thermal Spa and Hot Pools is a great way to spend a couple of hours relaxing in tropical surroundings. If you make your way to the wharf you can catch the passenger ferry to Ferry Landing & take a walk over to Front Beach. Tour boats also leave from the wharf which can show you around the area and stop close to Cathedral Cove within the Marine Reserve, watch the fish, go for a snorkel, or take a cave tour. If fishing is your idea of a good time, there are plenty of Charters that can take you out. Or you could take a drive out to Hahei. From here you can take the 40-minute walk to world-renowned Cathedral Cove, or you can head to the beach where there is a water taxi that can take you. Hot Water Beach is not to be missed.
