Lake Vista is located in the Lochinver subdivision 1.7km's from Lake Tekapo village. It has beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There are numerous walking and biking tracks close by a 10 minute walk to the edge of the lake or a 5 minute walk on top of Cowans hill for an amazing 360 view of the lake and mountains. Great stop over if you are cycling A2O (Alps to Ocean) trails. Perfect for star gazing in the evening or relax in the outdoor area with a glass of wine. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette to prepare light meals. The Queen bed is located at the back of the living area, the 2 super king single beds are in a seperate bedroom as per photos.

Lake Vista is a short 10 minute walk to the edge of Lake Tekapo where you can take a leisurely walk around the edge of the lake. A 5 minute walk takes you up on Cowan's hill where you can experience an elevated panorama view of the surrounding lake and mountains it is also the perfect spot in the evening for amazing sunsets or stargazing. Lake Tekapo village has a great selection of restaurants kiwi, Thai, Japanese, our local bookshop and several retail outlets. A round of golf is available at The Cairns with breath taking views along the way. Sit and relax at Tekapo Springs or treat yourself to the day spa. Numerous water sports on the lake or snow ski in winter with local fields Round hill, Mt Dobson and Ohau. A day trip to stunning Mt Cook just 1 and a half hours drive. Great stop over if you are cycling the Alps to Ocean trail. You will love your stay in Tekapo.
