Set above peaceful farmland, Languor offers stunning rural views, dark starry skies, and total relaxation. Enjoy the swimming pool, spa pool, sunny decks, and spacious lawns surrounded by nature. The private, self-contained suite features two large bedrooms - perfect for two couples, a small family, or friends travelling together. A friendly resident dog adds a welcoming touch to this tranquil retreat.
I’m an experienced and friendly host who loves welcoming guests to Languor.I value respect, privacy, and creating a warm, relaxed environment where guests can truly unwind. Travel and connection are a big part of my life. I enjoy exploring new places on our motorcycle, cycling, hiking, and Yoga. Hosting allows me to share the beauty and calm of this rural setting with others who appreciate nature, comfort, and a genuine Kiwi welcome
Languor-The Quite Restful Space is perfectly positioned above peaceful farmland in the beautiful South Wairarapa countryside, surrounded by wide-open valley views and the distant Tararua mountains. We’re just a short drive from Greytown, known for its boutique shopping, cafes, and village charm, and only a little further to Martinborough, famous for its vineyards, restaurants, and relaxed wine-country atmosphere. Nearby you’ll also find Stonehenge Aotearoa, a fascinating local landmark inspired by the original Stonehenge in England - well worth a visit. Our area is part of the Wairarapa Dark Sky Reserve, recently recognised by Lonely Planet as one of the world”s top dark sky destinations. On clear nights, you can enjoy incredible stargazing right from the property. Whether you’re exploring local wineries, tramping in the nearby hills, or simply soaking in the peace of rural New Zealand, this region offers the perfect blend of nature, beauty, and small-town charm.
