Lupin Lodge Bed & Breakfast is an idyllic lifestyle residence in the country side just 8kms from the lively lakeside resort town of Taupo. Set amongst native planting, birdlife and offering three elegant bedrooms with competent hosts to help guests enjoy the postcard-like scenery as well as the huge range of adventure and adrenalin activities on offer like bungy jumping, jet boating, skydiving, whitewater rafting and mountain biking. The Lodge is a perfect holiday escape with outdoor flow from all rooms to patios for al fresco dining. Lupin Lodge supplies their own home grown vegetables and summer fruit, plus the chickens roam free and provide free entertainment as well as fresh eggs.

I enjoy the visitors staying here at Lupin Lodge, because I can relate to the overseas hosts I meet on my travels in the past, and I try and emulate that to my guests here at Lupin Lodge. A welcoming spirit and a cosy serene environment is what I try to provide to my guests. I love my thoroughbred horse Pops, who I am currently training to compete at horse trials . I also are inspired to planting more native trees in my ever expanding garden, mountain biking through Craters of the Moon trails, and tramping all the 9 great walks of New Zealand .
The Great Lake Taupo region is one of the world's most unique and picturesque areas. It is defined geographically by an ancient volcanic landscape, the largest freshwater crater lake in Australasia, geothermal attractions, and the mountains and ski areas of Tongariro National Park, a dual World Heritage National Park. The best visitor attractions that are must see include: Huka Falls, New Zealand's most visited natural attraction, Mine Bay Maori Rock Carvings, one of New Zealand's most extraordinary contemporary Maori artworks, Tongariro Alpine Crossing, New Zealand's best one-day walk, Taupo Fishery, New Zealand's best trout fishery.
