Newly built self contained guest house. Appreciate the incredible Treble Cone mountain view whilst having your morning coffee brewed by the Nespresso Machine. The king bed is supplied with 400TC cotton sheets (or linen) , duvet and warm bed spread with electric blanket (in Winter) . There is no kitchen, however we supply a Kettle, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Toaster, Microwave, Fridge Freezer etc. Bathroom has underfloor heating, large walk in shower and drying room. Local beach on Lake Wanaka is 5 minutes walk away. Wanaka township is 5 minutes drive. Cycle 2 minutes and arrive at the famous Sticky Forest Bike tracks or there are numerous bike paths to explore around the lake. There are two mountain bikes (his and hers) available for use.Bikes are for use depending on availability but are ridden at your own risk.The owners do not accept liability should an accident occur.Bikes are well maintained and serviced regularly however. Access to Peninsular Bay's stunning facilities of a large heated swimming pool in summer, 2 spa pools heated all year round and well equipped gymnasium. Only 45 minutes' drive from The Cardona and Treble Cone Ski Fields.
My wife Nicola and I moved to New Zealand from the UK five years ago with our three children. We enjoy the wonderful outdoor lifestyle that New Zealand has to offer. Nicola works for a Bannockburn vineyard whilst I work in the entertainment industry. In our spare time we enjoy boat trips on the lake, walking our dog and socialising with friends.
Wanaka has plenty of wonderful things to offer.... Skiing in winter and beaches in summer. Its the year round holiday destination. There are many cycling paths outside our door towards Albert Town ,around the lake or towards the town and Glendhu Bay.
