Mount Sunset is furnished with all the essentials for a fuss-free getaway and a few nice extras including WiFi and ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms and lounge area to keep you cool in the warmer months. Right in the heart of all the activity, you'll love being able to explore Mt Maunganui. Whether indulging at one of the great bars and eateries, taking a boogie board down to the waves or tackling the famous Mt Maunganui summit walk, Mount Sunset has you covered. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
