Property information

Quiet spot with forest & field views. 3 minute walk to the Junction, with popular restaurants & bars like the Powderkeg. Old Coach Rd trail is at the end of the street, along with access to hiking & cycling trails & shuttle pickups for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. A few minutes’ drive to the supermarket and other shops. Enjoy a cosy, warm home that offers a peaceful atmosphere, watch the sky change, reflecting light across the fields, while being just moments from town. Open plan lounge/kitchen, with a heat pump. Enjoy views out over the fields, with abundant birdlife and sometimes grazing cows. There are 2 bedrooms off the hallway each with an electric oil fin heater. Separate toilet and bathroom are also off hallway. The bathroom has a shower over bath - oh so nice to soak in that bath. The Ohakune Railway Station, a stop on the Northern Explorer Route is down the end of the road. Off street parking for one car in front of the house next to the deck. Access to the house is up the deck stairs at the side of the house. Cleaning fee includes linen. The guest suite is next door to an adjoining airbnb apartment. The shuttle for the Tongariro Crossing has a pick up point 2 minutes walk from the house at the Powderhorn.
