Originally built in the 1920s, Picton House B&B and Motel is ideally located for exploring the Queen Charlotte Track. It is 5 minutes' walk from the waterfront. There is a swimming pool and free on-site parking. Guests enjoy free WiFi. Picton House B&B and Motel retains many of its historic features and offers classical décor. It is just 5 minutes' walk from the Picton Ferry Interislander Terminal. Nelson Square and Queen Charlotte College are within 5 minutes' drive. All rooms offer tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have a TV or garden views and some have private bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast can be arranged for an additional fee. It includes your choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast and juice, tea and coffee. Wheat-free and gluten-free options are available.

We are the new owners of Picton House B&B and have been here since August 2016. We are family owned and operated. We are now offering free Fibre since 2021 in our property along with free continental breakfast which is available 7am to 9am daily. We offer discounts to Tour operators and welcome all international guests in a friendly enviroment. We purchased the Motels beside us in 2017 , we are now known as Picton House B&B and Motels. Our Motel guests are welcome into our B&B dining room for our continental breakfast for a small charge, 7am to 9am daily. Order at our front desk before 7pm Thank you.

Picton House B & B is a 1920's property that has been added too and altered over the years. It has some endearing features and some annoying ones such as the small ensuite bathrooms that people have left comments about. Please, if you need big bathrooms book somewhere else, as we can not provide them. It is also our family home, hence we like people to be comfortable so we DO NOT accept late check in times after 10pm (2200hrs) as this upsets our guests already staying.

We are 2 minutes walk to the water front and harbour which is a beautiful deep water port. Picton is a pretty, small sea side town which is a stunning area to explore if you are interested in walking tracks, kayaking, mountain biking, swimming with dolphins and boating. We also have lovely Restaurants , cafes and bars to enjoy and a beautiful new Library just a few minutes walk away.Our new medical centre is on Wellington street, This hub also has a chemist shop attached.
