Named after The Pohutukawa tree, which is an evergreen beauty that blooms its bright red flowers in December. For this reason, we also refer to it as the New Zealand Christmas Tree. It is associated with the Maori legend Tawhaki - symbolizing the strength & beauty of New Zealand’s landscape.
This stunning home has been designed to make you feel instantly at home. With high quality furnishings and a chefs kitchen with all you are likely to need, you really won't want to leave. The living spaces are spacious and comfortable and enjoy spectacular sea views.
There are two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The third room is an open office with stackable beds that can accommodate two extra people. There is a family bathroom with shower and toilet, there is also an outside bath where you can lie back with a glass of wine and listen to the birds and the waves crashing below.
The highlight of this amazing property has to be the lounge, it really is spectacular. Floor to ceiling windows to take in that amazing view and to enjoy perfect indoor outdoor flow. At the end of a day exploring the island, you can relax on the covered patio, light the outside fire and watch the sunset. There is also a log burner in the main lounge for the cooler nights.
