Two bedroom, two storey house with own private entrance & off street parking in a quiet residential area in Shotover Country a short 15 mins drive to the main Queenstown centre Modern & fully equipped kitchen, dedicated adjustable standing desk workspace with spare screen & printer; laundry/washing machine. Pet friendly. Spacious dining table with enough chairs for up to six people. Two sofas in comfy lounge area, plus one futon sofa bed, smart TV, sunny covered outdoor seating area & garden with views. Close to Lake Hayes Estate & tracks, walking distance to the shops, bar, cafe & bus service.
Born in the UK but have lived in Queenstown, NZ since 1999. I am a keen hiker, camper and love the outdoors. I work in tourism in the South Island. Over the years I have travelled to over 87 countries and so enjoy meeting people from all over the world and love the chance to host people so they too can enjoy this stunning little piece of NZ. Happy to help with locals tips or help with any questions about the area. Previous experience hosting in Te Anau
Shotover Country is a residential area on the outskirts of Downtown Queenstown (15 mins drive) and just off State Highway 6. Serviced regularly by the local bus service, it is just a few kms from the International Airport and shopping centre (supermarkets and services) There are 2 local cafe/restaturant/bars in walking distance "The Hayes" and "Franks on 11th" and a local shop that sells food, alcohol and snacks. Situated between the Shotover and Kawarau River there are many riverside walks and cycle trails
