Te Mata Lodge is set amongst 10 acres of private landscaped gardens, 20 minutes' drive from Thames and Te Mata Bay. BBQ facilities and kayaks are provided. Guests enjoy 1 GB of free WiFi per day. The self-contained rooms include a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and free-to-air satellite TV. The en suite bathroom comes with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The property is bordered by a small river with many safe swimming spots where you can do gemstone gathering, gold panning, kayaking in the swimming hole or walk by the river. Thames Te Mata Lodge is a 14-minute drive from Rapaura Water Gardens and a 1-hour drive from Hot Water Beach. Auckland International Airport is a 90-minute drive away.
