The Good Shepherds Hut is on Simons Hill Station, a family-owned, working station, farming fine-wool merino sheep and beef. This is a working farm so be prepared for the sounds and smells of nature and animals and be prepared to follow all instructions around machinery and roads. We love having the opportunity to make fantastic, memorable breaks for our guests and show them a slice of our haven at Simons Hill. The farm is located half-way between Lake Tekapo and Twizel townships. We are the perfect location for a tranquil escape whilst having a vast amount of attraction close by. Such as Lake Tekapo, Tekapo Hot Springs, Lake Pukaki, Mount Cook, Roundhill Ski Hill, Lake Alexandria and plenty of more.. The closest shops are 29km away and are closed by 8pm at night. There are no public transport options - you must have your own transport.
