As the owner/manager of Tihi Retreat, I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to meet many wonderful guests from all over the world. And to offer this luxury holiday home to our guests and see the reaction on their faces when they walk through the doors towards the astounding views before their eyes gives me a great deal of pleasure. Visitors are quick to ask me where the best attractions and activities are, as well as a great restaurant to enjoy a meal....so as a local resident this is an easy task, considering I often enjoy a meal in the city or lunch at many of the great cafes, and not to mention the beautiful lakes and mountain biking trails that are on our doorstep and enjoy them whenever I get the chance. I greet all guests personally on arrival and return at check-out on the morning of departure to wish them farewell.....I am quite often surprised to hear that a lot of guests never end up venturing out to explore the city.....Tihi Retreat is quite often where they spend their entire holiday, relaxing and taking in the spectacular views.

Tihi Retreat is perched high on the edge of the city of Rotorua in a peaceful suburb with quick and easy access to absolutely every activity and attraction that the city has to offer. There is no part of the city, lake, surrounding farmland or forest that can't be seen from Tihi Retreat, and from almost everywhere in the Rotorua basin you can see Tihi Retreat.
