Our home adjoins the self-contained unit, although the entrance to each is separate. We love to meet and interact with guests. The connecting door to the house is locked for the duration of guests' stays. We are usually onsite for any enquiries, and can supply 1. Dinner 2. Laundry service by arrangement if needed.

We are right by the river close to Te Ao Hou Marae (the centre of many community based activities throughout the week) and the Top 10 Holiday Park (from where canoes can be hired for self-guiding trips on the river) . We are also located on the Te Araroa national walking trail and the Cycle Route from Upokongaro to Whanganui. Buses run hourly Mon-Fri during the day, Sat is less frequent. We are 6km from the town centre.
