Hi all!
I am Sarah, a big traveling fan, who visited quite some places in Oceania, (South-East) Asia, Europe & South America. I also studied tourism at university; learning about its niches, drawbacks & potentials. I believe that travel & intercultural encounters could resolve much of today's problems and I hope to, with this small business step-by-step, participate at the development of a more social and environmental just world. I try to strive for social and environmental respect and responsibility as much as possible, since I believe that finding harmony with ourselves, others, and the natural world is essential to preserve happiness, peace, and life on Earth. This BnB, proposed activities & dishes, embed well those values.
To put my studies into practice as well as to nourish my desire of travel and growth, I decided to open this little place on heaven. Likewise, I keep on traveling & learning by connecting with people from all over the world. Give me the chance to continue discovering the world through your stories and I will be more than happy to share with you Moorea's secrets :)
Hoping to meet you soon!
With love,
Sarah, and my pets (Tiki, Yue and Aiko)!
The house is located in a typical French Polynesian neighborhood, which offers the opportunity to experience at hand locals' way of living. Generally, the area is very calm and tranquil, since we are situated away from the main road and at the end of a blind alley. However, celebrations in the neighborhood do sometimes happen and the dogs can some days be more active than others.
Fare Haurevaiti is located 15km from the ferry and 10km from the airport. We provide transfer shuttles to and from the airport or ferry wharf at 2000 Xpf per transfer. You can also hire a scooter or car with our trusted partner, which we highly recommend since public transport on the island is not very reliable. We do also rent bikes at 1000Xpf a day, which can be another way to visit the neighborhood. The nearest grocery shop is located 1km away. White beaches and marine reserves, souvenir shops, restaurants and snacks are accessible between 1km and 5km.
Exceptional about our location is the direct access to the heart of Moorea - its pineapple fields, mountains and forests - for your most memorable hikes!
