==>**IMPORTANT: Mount Pulag is a protected area, and if you intend to summit hike or enter the park, DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) Registration is required. It is recommended to check and book in advance the DENR Registration slots to fit your schedules, especially on weekend and public holidays, as crowds of climbers are expected to come. Daily slots are limited to 500/day
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE COLD- it can drop below freezing up in the mountain region, so be prepared with adequate warm clothing to layer.
** A medical certificate "Fit to Climb" is required at all times, if hiking. You can bring your own or get one at any local clinics or even at the ranger station medical center near the homestay.
