Sunny Ridge is an agritourism farm located in the village of Łączna, inside the municipality of Mieroszów, and neighboring Kamienna Góra to the North, and the Czech Republic to the South.
Łączna is situated in the beautiful area of Central Sudety and is right at the meeting point of the Stołowe (Table) and Kamienne (Rocky) mountains, within the Wałbrzych county. The localization of the farm offers great conditions for active recreation at any time of the year.
It is an ideal place for enthusiasts of walking, gathering mushrooms and berries, horseback riding, cycling, downhill and cross-country skiing, and also for those seeking rural pastures, healthy and delicious goat's milk and cheese, eggs from happy chickens, and other healthy organic products.
Sunny Ridge offers comfortably fitted apartments for families, groups, and individual guests on weekend visits, Summer and Winter vacations, Holidays, and integration events.
The hosts of the farm are Danuta and Wojciech (Voytek) Klos, who left the city life behind and built a home for themselves, their two loyal dogs, and their goats and chickens.
Danuta and Voytek are passionate about healthy living and healthy organic eating. This lifestyle is promoted by working at the farm, walking the dogs in the forest, skiing, having their own fruits and vegetables, poultry, eggs, and goat milk.
Danuta also produces goat cheese, which is the beginning of her cheese-making adventure, but already has quite tasty and good quality results. Besides that, she practices yoga and plans to hold week long and weekend yoga camps on the farm, under the guidance of experienced instructors. Throughout the course of these camps members will also learn about healthy cooking, led by professional chefs, and will include the Five Elements cuisine and vegetarian cuisine.
Voytek is an experienced dental technician and runs a small business for repairing and manufacturing of dental appliances. Guests of the farm may not only care for their health, but may also make use of his services.
The agritourism farm's location was chosen to be in the village of Łączna, in the municipality of Mieroszów, because of the undulating countryside, panoramic views, stretches of forest with walking and biking trails, peace, quiet, and clean crisp air. Łączna is a part of a site belonging to an ecological network of protected areas in the territory of the European Union called Natura 2000.
Another advantage was that the property is on the outskirts of the village and has direct access to the local forests. Other reasons for choosing this location are the vast number of tourist attractions and interesting architectural monuments in the area, both in Poland and the Czech Republic.
