Cozy apartment in the Owl Mountains, located in the historic town of Walim, equipped with free Wi-Fi and a television (SmartTV, Netflix, and TV channels). The apartment is situated on the second floor of a tenement building. Guests have at their disposal a spacious living room divided into three sections: kitchen, television area, and sleeping area (with a comfortable double bed). The kitchen and dining area feature a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, gas stove, oven, electric kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, plates, coffee machine) and a dining table where meals can be comfortably enjoyed. Basic spices and oil are also provided in the kitchen. Additionally, the apartment includes a small single bedroom (with a secretary desk). In the bathroom with a shower and toilet, guests will find towels, personal hygiene products, a hairdryer, and slippers. In addition to the sleeping area, the living room has an extra sofa where guests can relax in the evenings while watching TV or reading books. The window offers views of the Owl Mountains.
The apartment is situated directly on the yellow trail leading to the summit of Wielka Sowa /Big Owl Mountain (4 km), where there is an observation tower with a beautiful panorama of the Owl Mountains. In the nearby vicinity (a 10-minute walk), you'll find the "Walimskie Drifts" (open for tours, historical military underground passages from the "Giant / Riese" wartime complex), a real treat for World War II history enthusiasts. At a distance of 8 km, there is "Bystrzyckie Lake" with its impressive dam and "Grodno Castle" offering a panorama of the lake and the Owl Mountains. Additionally, in the area: - "MTB Sudety Zone," a well-known network of natural mountain biking trails in Poland. - Ski lift complex in Rzeczka (4.5 km) - Craft brewery in Jedlina-Zdrój "Browar Jedlinka" (14 km) There are grocery stores nearby (open on weekends), a bus stop (600 m) providing access to Świdnica, Wałbrzych, Jedlina-Zdrój, or Głuszyca. The nearest train station with connections to Wrocław is located in Jugowice (5 km). Free parking is available in the parking lot near the building (indicated in the illustrative photo).
