Coqui del Mar Clothing Optional guesthouse is an experience. Come to relax. Come to meet others. Come to be yourself. We are not boutique, not pretentious. But if you are looking to enjoy and like to meet others within the gay community, this is the spot. We are very welcoming to all of the LGBTQIA+ community though we tend to me mostly gay men. Guests frequently meet for dinner or to explore for the day. We are pet friendly, 420 friendly (and licenses are easily obtained on line - no illegal drugs are permitted on property)
Coqui del Mar is gay owned and LGBTQ+ operated. We are a clothing optional hotel offering a safe space to be yourself. No judgement zone. We foster community via daily breakfast and coffee, and biweekly barbecues and other guest activities such as salsa dancing classes, painting, pole dance shows and other various fun gay stuff. We also pride ourselves on being as green friendly as a hotel can, actively recyling, no single use plastic, ceiling fans along with AC, locally purchased breakfast products made daily, a community refirgerator to reduce food waste, solar hot water, free bicycles and much more. We are based in San Juan and offer private rooms, some with kitchens, some shared rooms for all budgets.
We are nestled into a beachside community, securely within a gated community. We are 2 minutes walk to the beach (if you walk slow) and a few minutes walk to the grocery store and a few restaurants. WIthin 20 minutes there are quite a few other options.
