Built in 1937, this is, since 2022, the house that my brother Gonçalo and I chose to be able to spend more time in the village and be closer to family. As I spend a lot of my time from one place to another, and Gonçalo works abroad, we decided to occupy the house when we are not there and share a little of our love around the village. If you like a calm, discreet place surrounded by nature, we are sure you will love Valezim and our people. At home you will find everything you need for your stay - Equipped kitchen, Wood Stove + 1 bag of firewood, Bath and Face Towels, Bed Linen, 1 extra heater, TV and internet. Although there is no private parking, you can park on the streets near the house for free. You can take the opportunity to dive into the trails around the village or make Valezim your starting point to explore Serra da Estrela, which is also a UNESCO GeoPark. At home you will also find our suggestions for discovering the territory and we promise there is a lot to explore. We hope you have a great stay and feel at home while you are here!

From the granite houses to the hospitality of the locals, Valezim, which was once a town and county seat, is today a serene and authentic refuge that allows visitors to disconnect from the modern world and connect with the beauty of the mountains and Portuguese culture.
