A charming, fully renovated, stone home with an incredible view of the valley. You will love the open layout of this house and the large, glass windows that bring in light and allow you to gaze out at the beautiful scenery. Downstairs, you can watch tv, play matriquilhos, and sleep in the handmade "tree bed."
We LOVE sharing our home and the Portuguese culture with out guests. We live part-time in the United State and part of the year in Chaves. Hiking, biking, paddling are our favorite things to do in Portugal - besides eating, of course.
Situated on the edge of a small village, the pace of life is slow and friendly. We are just a short drive/bike ride/walk into Chaves.
