Located in the heart of Salema, named " Casa Da Paz" and one of the last fishing villages left in the Algarve. Ten minutes from Sagres. One hour from Faro airport. Twenty minutes from Lagos. Our townhouse is quiet, and fully equipped with Wi-Fi, A/C. Washing Machine and dryer. Two sun terraces, Two Cable Smart TV's, Stove, microwave, dinner ware, kettle. Bath tub, bidet. We are a stone's throw from the beach and free work out area. Five minute walk to beautiful Natural Park hiking area. Ten great restaurants with fresh fish always. Two mini markets, two International pubs. The supermarket is only a three minute drive away. The neighbors are friendly and speak many languages. The sea view is on the upper terrace breakfast area. One minute walk away from the center. There are so many restaurants also a pastry shop and two wine shops, two ATM's. The beach offers bike and kayak rentals and special boat trips and more. TV films are abundant on local cable TV and many are in English as well as Spanish and German and Dutch. This very comfortable townhouse is modern, it was built in 2013. It is your home away from home in the middle of Paradise !!! Mainly English spoken.
I am a musician from Los Angeles. My husband and I moved to Salema three years ago and have lived in Salema since 2014 from Los Angeles California. We escaped the Big City traffic and are semi-retired. We also love Nature walks, walking on the beach and in the Natural Park nearby daily! We love socializing with new friends from different places. I am a musician, instructor, and performer and Scott is a semi-retired Special Education teacher. We love living in Portugal.
The people are very friendly and there is never a boring moment in this little traditional fishing village. Always amazing sights to see and places to go visit and explore. We are very close to the great local restaurants serving all of the finest dishes and wine tasting shops and friendly local bars and very well stocked mini markets. Fresh fish and bread is available daily. You don't have to drive much, just relax and enjoy the peaceful beach. The Night Life is very lively and fun things to do and action filled.
