A HOME IN MADEIRA, LDA. is a home rental management company that was born from the will to share our experience in tourist accommodation and services related with property management. We were born in Madeira island, we like to travel and meet people, and it is a great pleasure to help travellers to discover our island.

Property information

Casa do Valentim is a spacious house integrated in a rural area and is ideal for families and groups of up to six people. The property includes the house with a spacious terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, barbecue with al fresco dining area, and parking area. The house is 192 m2 and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining area, work room and a kitchen. Is well equipped with dishwasher, washer, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay. A car is recommended, but there are bus stops nearby. Please note that this house is near a main road, and as such there may be traffic noise, which is attenuated by closing the windows. We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate. Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.

Neighbourhood information

The house is in a rural area at 450 m from sea level and at 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes. At about 200 m there is a supermarket and at 100 m there is a small restaurant and cafe. Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira. A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers. Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities. The property has access to the main roads, but some roads are steep and narrow.
