Recently renovated 2 bedroom farm house, placed at the edge of a vineyard on a farm producing oranges and grapes. The property is in the foothills of the Monchique mountains, with nesting storks in view.
We are a couple from London and Cornwall in the UK, relocated to a Quinta outside of Portimão.
A rural area at the edge of the village of Rasmalho, on the way up to the Monchique mountain range from Portimão, with the benefits of being 10-15 minutes drive to the city amenities and beautiful beaches, and also close to the hiking and cycling routes of Monchique. We are located in the midst of one of Portugal's largest Stork colonies, with several nests in direct view from Casa Mimosa. In Springtime, you will see hatched chicks raising their heads above the sides of the nests and fledging by early June. Whilst taxies including Uber and Bolt are available, we strongly recommend hiring a car for your stay to ensure you can make the most of the natural beauty of the surrounding areas. There are a number of restaurants nearby, in the village and up the mountain, and Casa Mimosa is also 15 minutes from Silves. Bicycle hire is available, with various types of bike delivered and collected from the property. We are excellently located to enjoy the famous cycling routes of Serra de Monchique.
