Built in the early 1980’s, Casa Mirao beckons you to a classically furnished home with our many amenities, such as parking, fast internet, a choice of continental or American breakfast. Relax in our TV lounge or enjoy a wide selection of streaming entertainment on your room television. You can even soak your weary feet in our wading pool.
We enjoy visitors from all over the world. Casa Mirao is open to all, regardless of race, creed, or sexual orientation.
Casa Mirao is located in the small but centrally located city of Galegos in Povoa de Lanhoso. We are just a hop, skip and jump from Braga, (the beautiful former northern capital city of the Roman Empire), and Guimarães (an ancient city known for its well preserved medieval buildings). There is lots to see, and a tiring day of touring, walking (lot’s of it) and sampling some of Portugal’s world famous cuisine calls for a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast
