Property information

Casa Mont'Santo is a rustic and secular house, with Jewish features and located in the most Portuguese village in Portugal. From the house, we highlight a panoramic balcony and a fantastic terrace with barbecue, from which we enjoy a stunning view of the village and the immensity of the landscape. These two spaces lead us to contemplation and peace, close to nature. The chirping of birds and the rest of the flora, compel us to forget the routine and bring us to other times! ￫ Firewood is not included, but if you let us know when booking, we’ll have it ready for your arrival for an additional fee. ￫ AC only in the living room During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

Neighbourhood information

Distinguished as being the “most Portuguese in Portugal”, the village of Monsanto is located on the steep hillsides. It is a fascinating place, with a peaceful and authentic environment that has traces of human presence since the Paleolithic era. The best places to eat in the village are Taverna Lusitana (for breakfast), and the Cruzeiro and Petiscos & Granitos restaurants.
