Our name has deep roots in the tradition and history of this region. It derives from the word “pousar”, which means to rest or settle down, takes us back to ancient times, when the inhabitants of our parish traveled on foot along the mountainous trails to Vieira do Minho. Where we met was the place where they stopped to rest and regain strength, it was a refuge in the middle of the route where they prepared for the next stages. Today, we want to keep the essence of this spirit of welcome and rest alive. Here, we invite you to rest your body and mind, connect with nature and discover the tranquility that guided the steps of those who passed through here.

Encosta de Louredo is part of the Pousadela Village group, providing guests with access to the main building for reception services, pools, spa, restaurant, and bar. The accommodation is located just 2.6 km from the main building, which corresponds to a drive of approximately 5 minutes. The local accommodation Encosta de Louredo is situated in the Serra da Cabreira and offers privileged panoramic views over the Cávado River and the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
