Located in the center of Portugal, close to the historical town of Coja, this modern, fully equipped villa is perched on top of a hill overlooking a valley in an area of natural beauty, where the tranquility is only disturbed by the song of birds and sounds of nature. Looking out from the villa’s southerly terrace over our Zen Garden with its natural lawn surrounding the rock pool, home to our fish and crossed by a red Japanese arched bridge (soribashi) which historically symbolizes the path between the human world and the world of nature, you might be tempted to think of paradise. A large Buddha watches out over the lake and rolling hills whilst enjoying the sound of flowing water from the waterfall cascading down from the upper garden. A perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation! Each bedroom looks out on a different aspect of the gardens with varying flora and fauna depending on the season and where your mornings are greeted by a picture-perfect view of the garden and the valley below, sometimes blanketed by a layer of cloud in the valley below. At night, enjoy the iconic sunsets and clear skies revealing their secret stars and planets twinkling in the night sky and breath in the fresh night air from the rear terrace leading down a few steps to the swimming pool with sliding covers. Enjoy our gas BBQ and space Gas Heater (usually found in restaurants) during alfresco dining on a long Portuguese style wooden table. In the morning, feel invigorated with a morning swim into the covered pool, or enjoy one of the many walks into the surrounding hills, or explore some of the neighbouring villages and towns where time has rarely moved on. A wood burner & Electric Heaters. We supply wood during guests’ stay at no additional charge. 3. Private and secluded Swimming Pool (not shared) with retractable clear roof to allow the warming sun, surrounded by the pool terrace with sunshades and loungers. 4. Large southerly private terrace housing our gas BBQ and space gas heater, Al fresco dining table and chairs and outdoor sofa, with children’s swing and basketball net. 5. Fully equipped modern kitchen: Electric oven and cooking hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker (nescafe dolce gusto) and toaster as well as other essentials for cooking. 6. Living Room: Dining table, dining chairs; Sofa; Flat screen TV with over 100 channels and DVDs. 7. 3 comfortable double bedrooms (1 with separate TV), 2 bathrooms, one en-suite. Towels, bed linen, swimming towels are provided, free of charge. 8. Large private driveway leading to own parking space under the kiwi trees and additional parking for several cars. 9. Pets are strictly subject to prior written approval from the Hosts and a payment of 20 Euros per pet for additional cleaning. Maximum one pet per stay if approved by Hosts. 10.
