Belém is one the preetiest neighborhoods in Lisbon, with various monuments of historical and architectural value and one of the greatest landscapes of the city. It has landmarks like the Jerónimos Monastery, Tower of Belém and monument to the discoveries, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. It is also home to the most famous pastry in Lisbon, the "Pastéis de Belém". The sorrounding areas have plenty of restaurants and cafés, traditional and trendy commerce as well as all the facilities you'll need such as banks, post office, supermarkets and food stalls, pharmacies, and public transportation. There are bus stops at the main street, parallel with our street, that will take you to the city centre in 15 minutes. The train station is 5 minutes away and will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes or, to the touristic favourites Cascais and Sintra! If you pretend to go to the beach, you may catch the traditional boat “cacilheiro” just a few minutes walk and enjoy all the beaches in Lisbon South Area, like Costa da Caparica, or just enjoy a beautiful scenery at Tagus river.
