The Little Townhouse presents you with 2 bedrooms, both with queen+ size beds, 2 ensuite bathrooms, one with a double shower. The upstairs bedroom has a walk-in closet and an amazing view over the city, mountains and sea.
The beds are exceptionally comfortable for a great night's sleep after your explorations of the city or nearby mountains.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, a toaster, Nespresso machine with capsules and contemporary cooking and dining equipment.
There is also a sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate 2 people so the house can take up to 6 if necessary.
There is a spacious terrace to the front of the living room offering an al fresco lounge area with comfortable sofas and occasional tables to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or a morning yoga stretch.
The roof terrace is the Little Townhouse's pièce de résistance, a delightful airy rooftop space to gather with friends and prepare a delicious barbecue.
On arrival, you'll be met by Anna, your host who knows these islands intimately and will provide you with inspiring information and guidance.
Anna has been on the island for 5 years and dearly loves Madeira. She works in tourism and has a unique knowledge of every aspect of the island that guests would care to know about including excursions, Levada walks, golf and the best restaurants, local and so much more!
Close to the centre of Funchal, a mere 800m from the famous Farmers Market and Old Town, you'll delight in all that’s at hand including the restaurants, tabernas not to forget Funchal's famous seafront promenade. Only 150m from your front door is a convenient supermarket for your everyday needs.
Funchal is a surprise! It's an elegant little European city full of character and amenities with a nice balance between everyday life and tourism.
Down by the harbour, there are boat trips to see whales and dolphins or you can take a trip on the 'Santa Maria', a replica of Christopher Columbus’s galleon which he sailed to these islands in 1492 on his way to discover that little place they now call America.
Madeira's Old Town is magnificent, a place to wander at leisure, poking around narrow streets, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere or stopping for lunch at one of the dozens of delightful pavement restaurants.
Madeira has three 18-hole golf courses including the one on the neighbouring island of Porto Santo.
