Located in the North of Terceira Island, 5 minutes from the natural pools of Biscoitos, Casas do Tareco enjoys a privileged view over the rural countryside, where wineries and green pastures stand out, and the vastness of the ocean Atlantic. The property has two accommodation: Moinho do Tareco (1 bed room) and Casa do Tareco (two bed rooms) About Moinho do Tareco Identified as the last example in the entire Azores Archipelago, the intervention in this windmill, from the end of the century XIX and without working since 1934, born from the desire to keep old memories and safeguard elements of high architectural interest, which mark and characterize the landscapes of the Azores Islands. Starting from the original stone structure, the intervention in this mill was carried out with a view to restoring all the exterior elements that characterized it. Its interior has been adapted to accommodate 2 guests, with a bedroom on the upper floor with a double bed and, on the lower floor, a small kitchen, a dining area and a bathroom. Feel all the warmth of this unique and stunning space, delight in the different landscapes and enjoy the tranquility that makes Moinho do Tareco a place extraordinary. Come visit us!
