Nestled in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, close to the village of Aljezur, this guest house prides itself on its eco-friendly design. Built with only regional materials, Muxima - Aljezur radiates a unique, rustic charm. All of the guest rooms and suites are inspired by your hosts love for Africa. Enjoy stunning views while sitting on your front porch or sipping a drink in the comfort of your room. Muxima is set on a beautiful private estate, complete with forest and bio-pool. Try your hand at archery or explore the surrounds on mountain bikes. While your children play on the playground, you can make use of the jogging track or check your mails via free wireless internet. Breakfast is served until 12:00 each day, ensuring a good lie-in if you wish. Spend the day taking surf lessons at a nearby beach or visiting historic Lagos. Upon your return, dinner can be prepared in your suite’s very own kitchenette. For 4 nights stay in low season, we offer 20% discount.

Sofia & Jorge, a portuguese family, with 2 children, that change their lifes 12 years ago, when they decide to change the big city for the wild Nature in the Vicentina Coast. After living in urban environments and travelling all over the world, everything came together at this rural tourism project where they recreated environments from other cultures and locations. Furniture, carpets and other pieces acquired during their travels turn each bedroom into a small refuge.
