Bom dia! We are Gust and Mayke, and since 2016 we’ve been living in Portugal with our two little boys. It’s a wonderful country with kind people, delicious food, and beautiful weather. Our Quinta (farmhouse) was renovated in 2017 and is divided into five cottages, plus a separate standalone house. With lots of joy and enthusiasm, we run Quinta da Vida together — and we would love to share this special place with you! Quinta da Vida is a Portuguese farmhouse, divided into 6 separate houses. Every house has a spacious private terrace, including a lounge set, dining table, and BBQ area — a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful weather. It’s located in a rural and peaceful setting, yet not isolated! Within just a 5-minute drive, you’ll reach the nearest village, Moncarapacho. There is a large swimming pool (50m²) shared with the other 5 cottages. The pool area includes sun loungers and parasols, and there’s plenty of toys for children. Our common space includes an honesty bar, games, books, and local information. In the garden, we have a large play structure for children with a slide, swings, etc. There’s also an outdoor play kitchen, lots of toys, and of course, our chickens, two dogs, and a cat — plenty of fun and coziness! Less than 10 km away is the beautiful beach of Fuseta, a charming fishing village with great restaurants. Faro airport is only a 25-minute drive. The lovely towns of Olhão and Tavira are both less than 15 minutes away. The Ria Formosa Natural Park is just 12 km away and well worth a visit — for example, by taking a boat tour. We highly recommend renting a car! We, Gust and Mayke, live right next to the property and are always happy to help or provide information if needed. Of course, we respect your privacy, so you can fully relax and enjoy your holiday. During the winter months (November–March), one bedroom is closed off, which increases the living space. The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating, making it a very pleasant place to stay during the winter.

Our Quinta is located on a sandy path that borders directly with nature. In just 3 minutes’ walk, you can enter the wilderness and not encounter another person. Our garden is spacious, and you can spot many different birds, including the Hoopoe! There are numerous hiking routes that start right from the Quinta. It’s also a fantastic area for mountain biking or road cycling. The Quinta is set in a rural location, but not isolated. Within just 5 minutes’ drive, you’ll reach the nearest village, Moncarapacho, which offers all the essentials: supermarket, bakery, post office, ATM, gas station, restaurants, and cafés. The beach is just 10 km away in the village of Fuseta, a charming fishing village with great dining options, a lovely beach with beautiful views, and a nice beach bar. The airport is just 25 minutes by car.
