House and Fortress from 13th century (Domus Fortis) fully renovated in 2021, with a Tower built before 10th century that patrolled the 18th Roman Road (connecting Lisbon, Braga and Astorga). Working organic-biologic farm, on syntropic agroforestry system, with our own production of wines, fruits, vegetables, eggs and woods. Ensuite rooms opening directly to an exterior balcony, with air conditioner, satellite TV and free Wifi. Very calm area, ideal for walking, with many and excellent restaurants, typical taverns and pastry shops.
Quinta do Pinheiro is strategically located in Guardizela agriculture valley with big spaces and lots of green. Located in the Romanesque Route area, 5 minutes by car from Singeverga Beneditin Monastery, near Citânia de Sanfins and Briteiros (2 iron age cities), near Guimarães precious medieval city with a Castle and Duke's Palace, very rich cultural and active night life (2012 European Cultural Capital City). We are located 3 min away by car from exit ''Serzedelo'' in highway Porto/Guimarães and 15 min. by foot from train station ''Lordelo'' from line Porto/Guimarães. We supply cultural, historical and gastronomic routes of great value.
