THE L lodge is a curated holiday house with a lovely garden & sea view where you can relax your mind & body. This is our dreamy country house, with everything you need to enjoy some slow days and reset: from sunbathing and refreshing in the outdoor shower, dining al fresco in a peaceful surrounding, to light the fire bowl at sunset. Our rates include bed & bath linen, Aesop products, Nespresso coffee, Kusmi tea, fresh fruit, water & wine, WiFi , air conditioning/heating, cleaning and parking. The house blends carefully selected design and ordinary objects, offering an inspiring place to sleep and live. You can find a thoughtful selection of pieces from some of the brands we love most: Ferm Living, HAY, Kartell, Vitra, &Tradition, Artemide, Fatboy, Fermob, Flos. THE L lodge has… an open space first floor with: a kitchen fully equipped with an induction stove, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, aeroccino, french press, electric kettle, toaster, blender, fridge and freezer, where you can easily cook all your meals; a cosy dining/living room where you can savour your meals, enjoy a few moments of relaxation, watch a movie, read one of the books from our curated selection, listen to a record (vinyl selection available) or enjoy your own music from our JBL portable speaker; a modern bathroom where you can have a revitalizing bath in the walk-in shower and then wrap yourself in our organic cotton bathrobes. Aesop hand wash, body wash and shampoo awaken your senses and separate towels are provided for the sun loungers or beach. a second floor accessible by an industrial ladder with: a mezzanine bedroom with a comfy queen bed (160x200 cm). complimentary air conditioning and heating. an outdoor area with: a front porch with a large table for al fresco dining and a Weber barbecue; a relaxing area with built-in benches, HAY furniture and a Skagerak fire bowl; a garden with an exterior shower, sun loungers and a cool spot to enjoy the sunset at the end of our property.

Following our passion for traveling and interior design, we founded THE L living homes, a family company dedicated to hospitality. THE L living was born from the desire to bring charming old houses back to life with a new sense of purpose and a stylish approach. The interiors are playful and reflect our heartfelt passion for design, creating comfortable spaces where guests can unwind from their busy lives and make happy memories.

A peaceful retreat in the countryside where you can have a slow life, enjoy nature and only 7 minute drive from Ribeira Brava or Ponta do Sol. The beautiful Levada Nova (towards Ponta do Sol), one of the most interesting levada hikes, is just 3 minute walk from the house. Big chain supermarket at Ribeira Brava at 7 minute drive. Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol beaches are at a distance of 7 minute drive. Funchal downtown is 20 minutes by car.
