Gasthof Sara is run by a family who has been operating in the retail & tourism sector in Sibiu since 1992.

Gasthof Sara is an authentic but modern bed & breakfast in the beautiful town of Sibiu, located in a quiet neighbourhood 5-10 minutes drive and 20-25 minutes walk to the medieval Old Town. With 30 rooms of different shapes and sizes, Gasthof Sara caters to both individuals and groups, coming to Sibiu for leisure or business. Our guests love the private and secluded feel of our guesthouse, which boasts a spacious interior courtyard with sitting space and lovely flowers in the summer. Take a Illy coffee or a Romanian beer here at your convenience. Another highlight of Gasthof Sara is its traditional buffet breakfast, being served in the modern but cozy restaurant which can host up to 100 people, and can be hired upon request for events, birthdays or corporate meetings. The rooms are small but have everything you need for a restful stay: private bathrooms with showers, comfortable beds, and all required amenities. There is AC in all rooms, as Sibiu can get hot during summer. Private and safe parking is available either in front of the guesthouse or in the underground garage of Gasthof Sara, upon availability. "Neppendorf" is an old Saxon neighbourhood, which was originally a "Dorf", meaning "village" in German. However, as Sibiu grew, it came together with the city and is now a well-known, safe and beautiful part of town. It is very close to the airport (5 min drive), as well as the fastest-growing industrial area of Sibiu. There are restaurants and supermarkets around, bus stations and parking options, making it a comfortable place to stay in while in Sibiu.
