Lovely little cottage in the heart of Maramures, Romania. Small, traditional home in a village near Targu Lapus. The house not only offers the best experience of rural living, but also has the most breathtaking view over the area, close to the forest. The perfect place for a quiet getaway . The house is an old one with objects made of sheep's wool and wood, (in case you are allergic) it is located in a village, where there are animals, therefore there is also a smell
Iesitul in natura
Besides being perfect for long walks in the forest, hiking and biking, the area is home to a few famous traditional monasteries (Manastirea Rohia and Manastirea Rohiita). Best way for getting around is by personal car, only 100 meters of unpaved road. There is no steady public transportation in the area, and many of the neighboring points of interest are only approachable by car. The place is somewhat remote, but I can provide transfer from Targu Lapus upon request.
