Zlatar Lake Hill holiday resort is located in the south-west of Serbia between the mountains of Zlatar and Zlatibor and near Zlatar Lake (~2km away) on the river Uvac with its Special Natural Reserve which is one of the largest habitat of the Griffon Vulture birds. The main road to Montenegro passes through a village Kokin Brod, which is 6km away from our resort, 40min drive from Zlatibor and 20min from a town Nova Varos and Zlatar Mountain.
Two fully equipped wooden houses with gorgeous view to Zlatar Lake and surrounding mountains are placed on the south-facing hill side (Kokiceva Strana, Toskino Brdo) at the altitude of 1100m. It is the ideal holiday homes for families and groups of people who like the sheer beauty of rough mountains, far away from crowed cities.
This new resort is run by two families (local village family Markovic & city Belgrade family Milosevic). This combination of village & city families is very important for the success of this long- run project. The main goal is to develop the countryside tourism in this area, to show the mesmerizing natural beauty of sensational mountain landscape round Zlatar Lake and to offer a high standard accommodation service.
All your senses will be opened by breathing the fresh breezy mountain air, watching the stunning deep blue sky with spectacular sunrises and sunsets or the night sky full of stars, listening to wild bird’ songs, smelling dark green grass fields, swimming in clean cool lake water and tasting some amazing domestic food such as natural cow & goat cheese.
