Multicultural background, having lived in 13 countries before moving back to Stockholm. Both cottages in Vårholma were built by my grandfather is the 50's and my mother and I have throughout the years added in personal handcrafted touches. The island of Vårholma is 1x3km in size, making it the perfect island for smaller hikes. Ferries cross each day into Stockholm C (two per day) and smaller trips to the Archipelago Foundation owned island Grinda or the cute fisherman's town Vaxholm are reached by ferry between 15-30 minutes traveling time.
