If you like hiking, Store Mosse National Park, the largest contiguous wetland area in southern Sweden, is not far away. Jönköping will delight you with its charming old town, entertainment and restaurants, and you can experience the local market on Västra Torget square every Saturday between 7.30 am and 1 pm. In summer you should try a trip on one of the many excursion boats on Lake Vättern, e. g. the M/S Nya Skärgården. The boats depart from the harbor in Jönköping. For a day trip, you can take the ferry from Gränna to Visingsö. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
